Qualified applicants must possess an independent clinical license in the state of Minnesota (LMFT, LPCC, LICSW, LP, etc.). The license must be in good standing with no restrictions.

Responsibilities

  • Proficient use of our electronic health records system (Sessions Health)
  • Meet all continuing education requirements and maintain an active clinical license
  • Attend consultation and other employment-related meetings

Classification

  • Full-time W2 employee (in-office or hybrid*)
  • Average of 22 client hours per week or more (90837 or 90847)
  • Average of 5.5 admin hours per week (for documentation, consultation, and miscellaneous meetings/tasks; scales with client hours)

 

Pay and Benefits

  • Hourly clinical rate: $48.00
  • Hourly admin rate: $25.00
  • Paid time off: 5 weeks
  • Revenue distribution 2x per year based on billable hours

Ripple Effect Mental Health is currently able to offer supervision for MFT and LPC/LPCC – track students for the purposes of practicum or internship. Qualified applicants must, therefore, be enrolled in a Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Counseling, or related graduate program and either approaching or already in the practicum/internship stage of their program. 

We begin accepting applications on November 1st for practicum/internships starting the following fall. Our priority application deadline (for students highly interested in Ripple Effect) is December 15th. Priority applications should include a resume and a letter of interest (no more than a page long) detailing why you and Ripple Effect would be an exceptional fit. Applications received after December 15th should include a resume and will continue to be accepted and considered based on our current capacity.

Interviews for priority applicants begin in December and continue into January as needed. You will receive a decision/offer no later than January 15th and you should be prepared to respond with your own decision within a week. Interviews for general applications will begin in mid-January and continue until our practicum spots are full. 

Off-cycle applications are welcome and will be considered based on our capacity to provide the experience you deserve.

  • Respond to practice inquiries and interface with clients, professionals, and other members of the public
  • Develop and maintain proficiency with our electronic health records system (Sessions Health)
  • Assist with scheduling and appointment management for the practice’s clinicians
  • Verify client insurance eligibility
  • Aid with basic billing tasks
  • Support organizational systems with basic data entry, tracking, and reporting
  • Attend employment-related meetings
  • Perform other duties as assigned
